Artificial Turf

Laboratory and field testing in accordance with international standards - all from a single source

As an ISO 17025-accredited and certified testing laboratory, LLS offers a portfolio of testing services for synthetic turf systems that is unique in Europe - for use ranging from local leagues to the Champions League. Different standards and association requirements apply depending on the intended use, sport, and country. We test your synthetic turf system in the lab and on the finished playing field - in compliance with standards, independently, and all from a single source.

DIN EN 15330 - the European series of standards for synthetic turf The basis for the Europe-wide use of synthetic turf fields for soccer, field hockey, rugby training, and tennis. We test both the individual components in the lab and the finished installation on-site.

DIN 18035-7 – the subbase for synthetic turf systems While EN 15330 governs the sports performance, DIN 18035-7 specifies requirements for the subbase and base layers. We test all layers, from the subgrade to the elastic layer.

FIFA – Certification for International Soccer For playing fields used in amateur or professional soccer, we test in accordance with the FIFA Quality Program - from laboratory accreditation to field certification under FIFA QUALITY or FIFA QUALITY PRO.

KNVB / NOC*NSF – Certification for the Netherlands For the approval of synthetic turf fields in the Netherlands, we test synthetic turf systems in accordance with NOC*NSF specifications - from subbase testing to final field certification for the KNVB.

FIH – Certification for Hockey For hockey facilities, we conduct inspections in accordance with the FIH Turf & Fields Standards, tailored to the respective usage category - from irrigated Global synthetic turf fields to community fields.
