Synthetic Turf – DIN 18035-7

As an ISO 17025-accredited and certified testing laboratory, LLS offers a unique (one-stop) portfolio of testing services for a wide variety of synthetic turf systems.

DIN 18035-7 – Synthetic Turf Systems addresses the construction of synthetic turf systems. It should be noted that functionality - specifically, the sports and safety properties - is standardized in the DIN EN 15330 series of standards, and the requirements of the EN standards have been adopted.

DIN 18035-7 describes requirements for the subbase, the base layers, and properties not included in the EN 15330 series of standards.

Requirements and test methods are defined for each of these individual sections, from the subgrade through the base layer to the elastic layer or bound elastic surface layer (see New Construction). By testing individual components, such as bound elastic base courses, you can be certain that the installed components meet the necessary quality standards to ensure the long-term usability of the synthetic turf playing field.
