The Lehmacher Schneider laboratory in Osnabrück conducts chemical and physical analyses of soils, mineral-based construction materials, asphalt, construction debris, recycled materials, and other environmental samples. Our analyses are used to evaluate materials in the context of construction projects, contaminated site investigations, demolition projects, and proper recycling and disposal.
Our scope of services includes testing in accordance with current legal and technical regulations, in particular the Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance (BBodSchV), the Construction Aggregates Ordinance (EBV), the Landfill Ordinance (DepV), and the relevant LAGA guidelines. Analyses are conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and test procedures.
A particular focus is placed on the analysis of mineral material flows in accordance with the Substitute Construction Materials Ordinance. Since the EBV came into effect, traceable and quality-assured analyses have been an essential prerequisite for the legally compliant classification and utilization of soil material, dredged material, recycled construction materials, track ballast, and other mineral substitute construction materials.

PFAS analysis is becoming increasingly important, particularly for soil materials, dredged material, mineral-based substitute construction materials, and other environmental matrices. We analyze this group of substances in accordance with current analytical requirements and legal regulations.
For road construction and civil engineering, we conduct analyses of asphalt and reclaimed asphalt. This includes, in particular, the determination of PAH levels as well as the analysis of asphalt granules, tar-containing road rubble, and recycled construction materials to assess their suitability for further reuse or disposal.
In addition, we offer agrochemical analyses for agriculture, horticulture, and composting facilities. The range of analyses includes, among other things, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, humus content, organic matter, pH value, and other parameters in accordance with the Fertilizer Ordinance and the relevant technical regulations.
In addition to the actual laboratory analysis, our range of services includes sample preparation, sample homogenization, and physical tests such as moisture content, pH value, conductivity, and loss on ignition.
Upon request, we handle not only the laboratory analysis but also professional sampling. Our qualified and PN98-trained staff collect soil, construction debris, asphalt, recycled materials, and other environmental samples in accordance with applicable standards and technical regulations. Sampling forms the basis for meaningful and legally compliant test results and is carried out in compliance with the respective requirements for documentation, labeling, and transport.
